1. Who is responsible
Pathways runs this website and the Pathways app. When this notice says "we", it means Pathways. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) we are the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal. For a student under 18, the parent or guardian acts for the child.
Questions about your data go to the person responsible for privacy at Pathways. Use the request form at the end of this page, or the Help button on any page.
Pathways is run by AI from end to end. There is no support team reading your chats. Privacy, safety, legal and billing matters are passed to the owner, who is a person, and who answers within the times in section 9.
2. What we collect, item by item
| Item | Required? | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| First name or nickname | Yes | So the app, your parent or your teacher can tell whose space it is. A nickname is fine. |
| Email address | Yes, for a space opened with Google or an emailed code | Your email address, as Google gives it to us after you tap "Continue with Google", or as you type it when you ask for an emailed sign-in code. We keep it in lower case. We use it to sign you in, to match a returning person to their space, and for nothing else. We do not send newsletters, offers or reminders to it. |
| Google account id | Only if you sign in with Google | A number Google uses for your account, not your password. We keep it so that the same Google account opens the same space next time. The first name Google gives us becomes the name on your profile unless you type another. You can change it under Me. |
| Sign-in on a device | Automatic | When you signed in, and on which device, as a session token that stays on that device for 180 days without use. |
| Emailed sign-in code | Only if you ask for one, once emailed codes are switched on | The code, kept only as a hash, for 10 minutes and at most five tries, and a count of codes asked for from one address and one internet connection in an hour. |
| Profiles under one sign-in | Automatic | Which profiles belong to one sign-in: a parent's own profile and the children the parent adds. |
| Recovery code | Only for a space opened with one | Spaces made before 23 September 2026, and spaces made while Google sign-in is not switched on, open with a recovery code instead of a sign-in. We keep only a one-way scramble of it. |
| Your language | Your choice | The language you chose for the site, the app and the AI. It is saved on your device and in your space, so that it follows you. |
| Role and age band | Yes | Student, parent or educator, and for students "13 to 17" or "18 or older". We never ask for a date of birth. The age band decides whether a parent's consent is needed and keeps the guide age-appropriate. |
| Consent record | Automatic | The time you agreed and the version of this notice. For a student under 18: either the family space they joined, or the name and relationship the parent typed when agreeing on the child's device. |
| About you | Class is required, the rest is optional | Class or stage, stream, board, state, and the amount the family could comfortably spend on a course, as a band. They change the advice. We do not ask for a school name or an address. |
| Discovery answers | Yes, to get matches | Your answers to 30 interest statements, what you value, subjects you enjoy and how strong you feel in six areas. From these the app works out interest scores, a three-letter interest code and a fit score for each career. |
| Plans and chats | Your choice | The route plans you ask for and your conversations with the AI guide, so you can come back to them. The most recent 40 messages are kept in your space. |
| Family check-in | Optional | Six statements that a student and a parent each answer, so the app can show where they agree. |
| Family and class links | Only if you join one | Which family space or class a student belongs to. |
| Invitations | Automatic | Your invite code, how many families joined through it, and the Plus months earned. |
| Decision dossiers | Your choice | The big choice you named, the careers you ticked and the dossier the AI wrote, with its second check. The last five are kept in your space. A parent sees the question of each dossier a child saved, not the dossier itself. |
| What the guide remembers | Only with Plus | One short note, at most 900 characters, that the AI writes from your guide conversations after every fourth message: your goals, constraints, decisions and open questions, in your own terms. It replaces the earlier note, is saved with your space, and is shown to you under Me, where "Forget this" deletes it at once. The AI is told never to put a name, school, address or phone number in it. A parent or teacher never sees it. |
| Essay drafts and reviews | Your choice, on this device only | A draft you paste for the essay coach is sent to the AI to review it (twice, if the first review had to be thrown away for writing instead of reviewing), and is otherwise kept only in this browser with the last three reviews. It is never copied to a cloud space, and a parent never sees it. |
| Practice sessions | Your choice | Your answers in an interview or viva practice stay in this browser. Only the summaries of your last three sessions (what went well, what to work on, one exercise) are saved to your space. A parent never sees the answers. |
| Family briefings | Parents only, your choice | A briefing the AI writes for you from what you can already see of each child. The last three are kept in your space. The child's name is not sent to the AI; the app puts it in afterwards. |
| Aptitude games | Your choice | The band you reached (one of four words), how many items you got right, and the date. A band changes your profile only when you choose "Use this in my profile". Games are not psychometric tests and we do not use them to profile anyone. |
| Quests and test-drives | Your choice | For a quest: the tick, the date and the one-line note you type. Notes are yours: a parent or a teacher never sees them, and only the number of quests done appears on your map. The answers you type in a career test-drive are sent to the AI once, for feedback, and are not stored. |
| Exam reminders | Your choice | The exam and the month. If you allow notifications in your browser, the reminder is shown in that browser while the app is open. We do not send push messages and do not know whether you allowed notifications. |
| Where you are in study | Students aged 18 or older, optional | Your level (school, college or finished), your course from a fixed list, the year you are in, the year you expect to finish and your state. We use this only to say which internships, government exams and scholarships fit, and to work out whether this is your final year. We do not ask for a college name, marks or family income. A student aged 13 to 17 is always treated as being at school, from the class given in discovery. It is saved with your space, and a parent or teacher never sees it. |
| Saved opportunities | Your choice | When you save an internship, scholarship, exam or portal: its name, a status you choose (saved, applied, heard back or closed), a note of up to 140 characters that you write, and any reminder month. Up to 50 items are kept in your space and are deleted with it. A reminder is a month, never a date, and shows as a notification only while Pathways is open in that browser: no server sends it. Pathways never applies for anyone and never registers you on any portal; you do that yourself on the official site. |
| Stream chooser | Your choice | Your five answers (how you feel about maths, biology, languages, business and making things), which streams you said your school offers, and the comparison Pathways worked out from them, in your space. The comparison, in a few plain sentences, is sent with your guide messages so the guide can talk it through (section 5). A parent in your family space sees only that the comparison was done, never the answers. |
| College shortlist | Your choice | For each college you save: the college's NIRF row (name, city, state, rank and year), the career you saved it for, the date, and the one-line note you type (up to 140 characters), in your space. Notes are yours: a parent sees only that colleges were shortlisted. The NIRF rows themselves are public data from the Ministry of Education and are not about you. |
| Affordability planner | Your choice | The choices you made (the career, the route, the years, whether you looked at a government or a private college, and which of three living-cost bands you picked), in your space. We never ask for, and never store, your income, savings or any figure about your family's money. The choices, as bands, are sent to the AI only when you ask it to write the paragraph. |
| Milestones | Automatic | The date you first opened your map and the date of your first test-drive, so that your milestones can show them. Every other milestone is read from things already in your space. Milestones earn nothing and are not used to profile anyone. |
| Resume | Your choice | What you type in the resume builder (your own contact details, education, projects and skills) is saved in your space, capped in size, and sent to the AI only when you press "Check my resume", with zero data retention. Nothing is filled in for you except your display name. A parent or teacher never sees it. |
| Placement plan | Your choice | Which tasks you ticked, and when, saved in your space. |
| Simple mode and big text | Your choice | Whether you turned on simple mode or big text, saved with your space so that it follows you to another device. It is a display setting and says nothing about you. |
| Educator tools | Educators only | The career-day kits and bagless-day plans you write (the last three of each), which contain nothing about any student, and the destinations register: counts by category for a class and an academic year, with no names, ids or free text. |
| Partner program | Adults only, your choice | If you apply in the app: where you would share Pathways, one optional line, your consent to the rules, and afterwards the counts of families who joined through your link and the commissions recorded. Each commission record holds the space id of the family that bought, so that a refund can reverse it; a partner is shown counts and amounts, never the families. |
| Pathways Access | Only if granted | Until when the owner switched Access on for your space, and the owner's short note of the reason you gave (for example "government school"). |
| Purchases | Only if you buy, once payments start | For Plus, Student Plus, the one-time career report or a gift: which space paid, until when, the order reference, and the provider's customer and subscription ids for your space, as told to us by the payment provider, so that a refund, a cancellation or a renewal can be matched to your space. The provider keeps your card or UPI details itself; Pathways never sees them. Nothing is sold during the free pilot. |
| Career report | Only if you buy it, once payments start, or have Plus | The report is built in your browser from what your space already holds. Pathways stores no copy and sends none; "Save as PDF" is your device's own print screen. When you buy it, the payment provider receives your space id. |
| Gifts | Only if you buy or redeem one, once payments start | When you buy a gift, the payment provider receives your space id and a random gift code, and nothing else about you. Pathways keeps the code, the date, the buyer's space id and, once it is redeemed, the redeeming space's id, so that a refund can reverse the gift. When you redeem a code, your space records the code, the buyer's space id and the date the gift ends. The buyer is never told who redeemed a code, and the recipient is never told the buyer's name. |
| Institute enquiry | Your choice | Your name, the institute, roughly how many students, the city and any note you add go to the owner through the form service and are not stored in Pathways; only a count is kept. |
| Care agent | Your choice | What you type to Pathways Care is sent to the AI to answer you. If something needs logging, a one-line summary is stored as a ticket. The conversation itself stays in your browser. |
| Forms on this site | Your choice | Privacy requests: your email, name if you give it, and the request. Partner applications (adults only): name, email, city, what you do and where you would share Pathways. A report of a wrong translation: the page, the language, the English words if you know them and your correction, and nothing about you. |
| Technical data | Automatic | IP address, browser type and time of request are processed by our hosting provider to deliver the pages and keep them secure. To limit misuse we keep a one-way scramble of the IP address and the date for about a day. It cannot be turned back into the address and is not used to identify or profile you. |
What we do not collect: a phone number, a password, your Google profile picture, your contacts, a date of birth, a school name, an address, photos, location, audio recordings, your family's income or savings, or any government ID. Google's sign-in does not give Pathways access to your Gmail, Drive or calendar. Please do not type such details into a chat.
Where your space is saved. Since 23 September 2026 every space is kept in the cloud and is opened with a sign-in: your Google account, or an emailed sign-in code once that is switched on. While Google sign-in is not switched on, a new space is opened with a recovery code instead. Your phone or computer also keeps a copy, so that the app opens at once and works on a poor connection; the Me page says when something is not yet in the cloud. A space that was saved only in a browser before 23 September 2026 stays in that browser until you sign in and keep it, or let it go.
We do not ask students for a phone number. A student aged 13 to 17 signs in with their own Google account only after a parent has added their profile, given them the family code or confirmed on the child's own phone, so the parent's agreement comes first.
Speaking instead of typing. In the guide and in Pathways Care you can tap a microphone and speak instead of typing. Pathways does not record audio, does not upload audio and runs no speech service of its own. The listening is done by your browser or your phone through the Web Speech API. On most phones the browser sends the sound to its own speech service and returns the words: on Chrome and Chrome for Android that service is Google's, and Google's own privacy notice applies to it. That is a feature of the browser, not of Pathways, and Pathways never sees the audio. Where the phone can recognise speech on the device, Pathways asks the browser to keep the audio there. The words that appear in the box are sent only when you tap Send, like typed words.
Read aloud. The "Read aloud" buttons use the voices installed on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to read a screen aloud.
The only legal ground we rely on is consent: yours if you are 18 or older, and a parent's or guardian's if you are under 18. The service you receive in return is career guidance: matches, career information, route plans and answers from the AI guide.
3. Children and parents
- Under 13: Pathways is not open to children under 13. The app stops at the age question and keeps nothing.
- 13 to 17: a parent or guardian must agree first. There are two ways. The parent starts a family space, confirms they are an adult and the child's parent or guardian, agrees to this notice, and gives the child a family code. Or the parent confirms the same things on the child's device. Giving a child your family code is how you give consent for that child. A student aged 13 to 17 signs in with their own Google account only after a parent has added their profile, given them the family code or confirmed on the child's own phone.
- What a parent sees: the child's nickname, class, stream, interest code and scores, top five matches, which route plans were saved, and the six family check-in answers. The parent's Family page also shows a dashboard of the same items for each child, with the question of each decision dossier the child saved and the date of the last family check-in, and can turn them into a family briefing in the family's language. A parent also sees the child's milestones by name and date, and that a stream comparison was done and that colleges were shortlisted, never the answers or the notes. A parent never sees a child's conversations, discovery answers, essay drafts, practice answers, quest notes, resume, study details or the note the guide keeps, unless the child's profile is under the parent's own sign-in (next point).
- A child's profile under a parent's sign-in: a parent can add a child's profile under the parent's own sign-in. That profile can be opened from the parent's phone by choosing Switch profile, so what is in it is visible on the parent's phone, including chats with the guide. A child who uses their own phone with their own Google account keeps those chats on their own phone and in their own sign-in; the parent still sees only the child's matches, plans and family check-in answers, as before.
- Email addresses: a child's email address is never shown to a teacher or to another family.
- What a teacher sees: the nicknames of students who joined the class, whether each has finished discovery, and results for the class as a group, shown only once at least five students have finished. Never conversations, never individual answers, never an email address. A student chooses to join a class and can leave at any time.
- Kits, plans, reports and destinations: the career-day kits and bagless-day plans an educator writes are kept in the educator's own space and contain nothing about any student. A school career guidance report is built only from a class's grouped results, only for classes in which at least five students have finished discovery, and never names a student. The destinations register holds counts by category for a class and an academic year, and nothing else.
- Nothing is sold to a child: a student under 18 is never sold anything, never sees a price, and cannot buy or redeem a gift. Once payments start, the career report for a child is bought by a parent.
- Taking consent back: under Family, a parent can remove a child. That deletes the child's cloud space and the sign-in record for that profile at once. The copy in the child's own browser is deleted with "Delete my space" on that device, or by clearing the browser's site data.
We never track children, monitor their behaviour or direct advertising at them, and there is no advertising in Pathways at all. The app does no mood tracking. The only profile is the interest profile a student builds on purpose by answering the discovery questions, and it is used only to show matches to the student and the summary above to their parent or teacher.
This is a pilot, and the parent check is a declaration. Before public launch, and before the DPDP duties on children's data take effect, we will verify that the person giving consent is an adult through DigiLocker or an equivalent method that the DPDP Rules accept.
4. What we never do
- We show no advertising and we do not sell, rent or trade your data.
- We do not share it with colleges, coaching institutes, lenders, study-abroad agents or recruiters. An institute may pay for its own students' Plus, but none of them ever pays to be recommended, ranked or shown to anyone.
- We do not train AI models on what you type, and we ask every AI provider to keep nothing (section 5).
- We do not use analytics cookies, social media pixels or fingerprinting.
- We never ask for your contacts and never message anyone in your name.
- We send no newsletters, offers or reminders to your email address. We use it only to sign you in.
- We never record or upload audio.
5. How the AI is used
Matching is plain arithmetic inside the app and involves no AI. These things do use AI: the guide, the "why these fit you" notes, route plans with their second check, the care agent, the staff assistant for educators, decision dossiers with their second check, the essay coach, interview and viva practice, the family briefing, the feedback on a career test-drive, the paragraphs of the stream chooser and the affordability planner, the resume check, the translation of Pathways' own long texts, and the career-day kits, bagless-day plans and report narratives for educators. With Plus, the guide also writes itself a short memory note after every fourth message.
- What is sent: your question and up to the ten most recent messages of that conversation; a short profile (interest code and scores, values, subjects, class, stream, board, state and budget band); and facts about the career on screen. For a dossier, the choice you named, the same short profile, the titles of your saved plans and the facts of the careers you ticked. For the essay coach, your draft. For practice, your last eight answers. For a test-drive, your answers to the task. For a family briefing, what the Family page shows about each child, with a label in place of the name. For an educator's kit, plan or report, the educator's own choices, Pathways' own career facts and grouped class figures, never anything about a single student. With Plus, the guide's memory note is sent with each guide message. If you used the stream chooser, its comparison, in a few plain sentences, is sent with your guide messages. For the affordability planner, your choices as bands, only when you ask for the paragraph. For the resume check, what you typed in the resume builder, only when you press "Check my resume". Every request carries the language you chose, so that the answer comes in it. Your name is not sent unless you type it yourself.
- Where it goes: through Vercel's AI Gateway to the companies that run the models. Today these are Claude models from Anthropic, which the gateway may serve through Anthropic (including the platform Anthropic runs on Amazon Web Services), Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI, and a Gemini model from Google that checks each route plan and each decision dossier independently.
- Zero data retention: every request carries an instruction that it may only go to a provider that has agreed to keep nothing and to train on nothing. If no such provider is available, the request fails rather than go elsewhere.
- Safety screen: if a message suggests that someone may be unsafe, the app shows helpline information at once and the message is not sent to the AI. Only a counter is increased. The words are not stored.
Translations. Pathways' own words (the site, the app, the career pages, the help articles, this notice and the pilot terms) can be shown in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia or Punjabi. Short texts are translated once, in advance, and stored with the site. Long texts are translated when someone asks, by the same AI models and through the same gateway as the guide, with zero data retention. Only Pathways' own text is sent for translation, and the server refuses any other text: never anything you typed, never your name, and never anything from your space. A finished translation is kept for 30 days under a code made from the English text and the language, with no record of who asked for it, so that the next person gets it at once. Translations are made by AI and are marked so; for this notice and the terms, the English version is the one that applies.
AI can be wrong. The app says so on every AI answer, shows costs and pay as bands, never as exact figures, and gives the official places to check. Every AI answer has a Report button.
6. Who handles your data for us
- Vercel Inc. (United States). Hosts the site and the app, runs our server code in its Mumbai region, and provides the AI Gateway described above.
- Upstash, Inc. (United States). The database that holds cloud spaces, families, classes, care tickets and usage counters. It is connected through the Vercel Marketplace.
- AI model providers. As described in section 5, under zero data retention.
- Google LLC (United States and worldwide, under Google's terms), once Google sign-in is switched on. Google Identity Services ("Sign in with Google") signs you in. It receives the fact that you are signing in to Pathways, your choice of Google account, and the address of this site. It gives us your email address, your Google account id, your name and whether Google has verified the address. Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account. Pathways sends Google nothing about what you do in the app.
- Resend Inc. (United States), once emailed sign-in codes are switched on. Sends the sign-in code. It receives your email address and the six-digit code, once, when you ask for a code. Nothing else is ever sent to it.
- Adzuna and Jooble, only once the owner switches live job listings on. When live listings are on and you search, Pathways sends one of these listings services the words you typed and the city you chose, never your name, your email address, a phone number, your space or a token. Only one of them is asked per search. It answers with listings, which Pathways shows as they came, with the credit its terms ask for. Pathways keeps each search answer for six hours under a code made from the words alone, and keeps no record of who searched for what. Each person may run 30 searches a day. Pathways has not checked the employers in a listing, takes no money from any of them, and nobody pays to appear. Before either service is switched on, this notice will name the company, its country and its terms.
- Paddle.com Market Ltd (United Kingdom), once payments start. The merchant of record for Plus and the other paid options: it sells them to you, takes the payment in its own checkout, keeps the payment details, issues the invoice and handles GST. It receives from us only the id of the space that is buying, and tells us which space paid and until when. For a gift, Paddle also receives the random gift code, so that its record of the purchase carries it. Nothing is sold during the free pilot.
- Formspree, Inc. (United States). Receives the forms on this site and the care agent's alerts to the owner, filters spam and forwards them to our inbox. Alerts carry a one-line summary, never the conversation.
- Our business email provider. Receives those forwarded messages so that the owner can reply.
Nobody else receives your details, unless a court or a law requires us to hand them over.
7. Where your data is stored
Cloud spaces are stored with Upstash on Amazon Web Services.
Our other providers process data mainly in the United States. The DPDP Act allows personal data to leave India unless the Government of India restricts transfers to a particular country. If it ever restricts a country we rely on, we will move your data.
8. How long we keep it
- A space: until you delete it. A space that nobody opens for 24 months deletes itself. Sign-ins on a device end after 180 days without use.
- Sign-in records: the email address, the Google account id and the list of profiles under one sign-in live as long as the space and are deleted with it. Deleting a space under Me, or a parent removing a child under Family, deletes the sign-in record for that profile at once; when the last profile under a sign-in goes, the sign-in record goes too.
- Emailed sign-in codes: deleted after 10 minutes, after five wrong tries, or as soon as the code is used. A verified email address waits at most 15 minutes for the "who are you" answer, then is forgotten.
- The copy on your device: until you sign out on that device, delete the space, or clear the browser's site data. A space saved only in a browser before 23 September 2026 stays there until you keep it or let it go; we cannot see it or delete it for you.
- Saved opportunities, study details, stream answers, shortlist notes, affordability choices, milestones, resume and placement ticks: with the space, and deleted with it.
- Gift codes, once payments start: the gift record is kept for 24 months from its last change (the purchase, the redemption or a refund), and the buyer's and the recipient's spaces keep their own note of it while they exist.
- Translations and job search answers: a translation of Pathways' own text is kept for 30 days and a job search answer for six hours. Neither holds anything about who asked.
- Family codes: 7 days. Misuse counters: about a day.
- Care tickets: 24 months. They hold a one-line summary, not the conversation.
- Forms and owner alerts: up to 24 months in the form service and our inbox, then deleted.
- Counters: how many spaces were created, finished discovery or were opened in a given week, and the numbers of AI requests and tokens for each feature. They are plain totals and hold no personal data.
After deletion we may keep a minimal note that a deletion request was made and honoured, and anything a law obliges us to keep.
9. Your rights, and how to use them
- See it. Everything we hold about you is on your own screens in the app: your answers, matches, plans and chats. Ask if you want it as a written summary.
- Fix it. Change your name under Me, redo discovery at any time, clear a conversation, delete a plan. The email address on your space is shown under Me. To remove it, delete your space: the space and the address go together.
- Delete it. Me, then "Delete my space". It is immediate. A parent deleting a family space deletes every child's space in it.
- Withdraw consent. Deleting the space withdraws consent. A parent can also remove one child under Family. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before.
- Nominate someone. Name a person who may use these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
- Complain. Tell the care agent or use the form below, and we will put it right.
Why deleting happens inside the app. We will not delete a space for someone who cannot show it is theirs, and signing in is how you show it. If you sign in with Google, sign in with the same account on any device and use Me. If your space opens only with a recovery code and you have lost it while signed out everywhere, nobody can open the space any more, and it deletes itself after 24 months without use.
We acknowledge every request within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30. The DPDP Rules allow up to 90 days for grievances; we do not plan to need them. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Most duties under the DPDP Act and the DPDP Rules, 2025 take effect in 2027. We follow them now, and we give the same rights to everyone, wherever they live.
10. Security and breaches
Everything travels over an encrypted connection. There are no passwords to steal: a space is opened with your Google account, with an emailed sign-in code once that is switched on, or with a recovery code. We store only a one-way scramble of each recovery code, emailed code and sign-in token, so a copy of our database would not let anyone sign in. The only outside scripts the site ever loads are Google's sign-in button, on the sign-in screen once Google sign-in is switched on, and Paddle's checkout, on the Plus page once payments start. A strict content security policy blocks anything else. Attempts to guess codes are rate limited.
Recovery codes. Spaces made before 23 September 2026 open with a recovery code, and that still works. Under Me you can attach a Google account once, and from then on you sign in with it; the recovery code keeps working as a spare way in. Nobody can recover a lost recovery code, so attach a Google account soon.
If a breach ever affects your data we will tell you without delay through the app and this page: what happened, what it means for you and what we are doing about it. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
12. If you joined the earlier waitlist
Before the app opened, this site had a waitlist for adults. It closed on 19 September 2026. If you joined it, we hold the name, email address and role you gave, and the class and city if you added them. We use them for one thing: to tell you that Pathways is open. We delete them within 12 months of the day the waitlist closed, or sooner if you ask with the form below.
13. Languages
The site and the app speak English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia and Punjabi. This notice is written in English, and the "Read this in my language" button shows an AI translation (section 5); the English version is the one that applies. You can also ask for this notice in Hindi or in any other language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India. Tell us which language in the request form.

Version 2.2 (24 September 2026) moved every space to the cloud with a sign-in, and added the email address, the Google account id, the emailed sign-in code, profiles under one sign-in, the language choice, study details, saved opportunities, the stream chooser, the college shortlist, the affordability planner, milestones, the resume, the placement plan, simple mode and big text, the career report, gifts and institute enquiries; named Google for sign-in, Resend for emailed codes and the job listings services for when each is switched on; and described translations, speaking instead of typing, reading aloud and the copy of the app on your device. It removed the space saved only on a device and the statement that we hold no email address. Version 2.1 (22 September 2026) added the items for decision dossiers, the guide's memory note, the essay coach, practice sessions, family briefings, aptitude games, quests and test-drives, exam reminders, the educator tools, the partner program and Plus purchases, and named the payment provider for when payments start. Version 2.0 replaced the waitlist notice (version 1.0) on 19 September 2026, when the app opened. If we change this notice in a way that matters, the app will show the new version and ask you to agree again before you carry on. Earlier versions are available on request.
